- Darken the room.
- Turn the TV on so you can hear sound or menu clicks.
- Shine a phone torch at an angle close to the screen.
If you see a faint image: the LCD is working and the backlight system is likely failing.
If you see nothing at all: the fault is more likely in the video path (T-Con board, main board, or panel).

- Confirm the issue happens on every input, not just one app or set-top box
